With long-standing family history and 25 years of providing quality trucking service, and unwavering determination, RST continues to drive forward.
The Sanderson family started trucking in the 1950’s doing custom tractor and dirt works. Raised in a trucking environment it was a natural progression that in 1999, their son Ross Sanderson started his business, Ross Sanderson Trucking as one man, one truck operation with the focus of providing quality work for customers.
When Ross passed away in 2019, his daughter Tamara with the support of her immediate family, took over the leadership role as President of the company. RST moved to Acheson in 2022 when Grant and Cheryl Glattacker of Bushell Transport Co. Ltd., recognized the potential of the business, and became Tamara’s business partners. They provided mentorship, and with the team of experienced RST operators and the support of everyone at Bushell Transport helped her create a path forward to build the company’s modern strength, sustainable growth, and success!
RST is a Canada only licensed trucking company specializing in over dimensional and oversized transportation, hauling machines and equipment from locations for customers.
They serve a wide range of industries including construction, mining, oilfield and energy, agriculture, manufacturing, and forestry.
The company's mission is to be a leader in transportation through relationships, service, and teamwork, hence RST! They believe in the importance of respect in business relationships and what it means to provide exceptional service while being attuned to safety.
RST believes in getting involved and giving back. They are passionate about making the trucking industry a better place and are a member of the CDI working group that comes together to create an industry training program with trade designations for commercial driving. They are big animal lovers and are dedicated supporters of the Second Chance Animal Rescue Society or SCARS.
After over 60 years of family experience and 25 years of building the company in specialized hauling services, they have stayed true to Ross’ vision of providing the best customer service and running top notch equipment.
