Located in Acheson in Zone 6, The Ranch Golf and Country Club is 10 minutes west outside of Edmonton just off Hwy 16 A or Hwy 628. General Manager Murray McCourt is the Executive Golf Professional, Part Owner of The Ranch Golf and Country Club, Author of “Outside the Tee Box,” and radio show host of “VIP Golf Show” formerly on TSN1260 and now on Edmonton Sports Talk.
The Ranch features a fun yet challenging 18-hole course, renowned for its premier conditions, exceptional service, and unmatched value. Their commitment to exceeding guest expectations is evident in every round, with a focus on over-the-top service and superior course conditions that create an exceptional experience.
To further support their clientele, The Ranch owns Tough Stuff Promotions, a promotional products company that assists businesses with their branded golf and other product needs.

Murray McCourt himself has been recognized with awards such as PGA of Alberta’s Top 100, Club Professional of the Year, and Executive Professional of the Year.
Supporting the local business community is a core value at The Ranch, with many Acheson businesses choosing them for golf tournaments, business meetings, Christmas parties, and more. Notably, the Acheson Business Association hosts its annual tournament at The Ranch.
The Ranch also believes in giving back, having donated over $100,000 to the MS Society of Alberta through league play and other initiatives.

The Ranch Golf and Country Club is home to the TaylorMade Performance Center, where a TaylorMade Master Club Fitter provides a unique club fitting experience, similar to what PGA Tour players receive.
